 Applied Happiness is a content management web site using Joomla, a free open source content management program. This web site has a great visual appeal and the look and feel is controlled by a template that is customized to the clients specifications. The web site has a great image based menu and a flash intro of a brain with positive and negative words.
The web site features a blog for the client to write and readers to subscribe and comment, an events calendar that uses Google Calendar that she can easily update, and an Amazon Bookstore. The site will eventually have a paid membership feature and an online store that sells various products and services.
Mary Anne, the site owner, is an expert on finding happiness and is currently working on her first book, Applied Happiness.
