Beau Monde Villas - This web site is the largest brochure-style web site I’ve made so far. The web site is built using static HTML pages to help optimize its search engine rankings. The web site has hundreds of pages of unique content. Every property page has a flash image gallery displaying the property’s photos and some of the properties have flash video. This company specializes in luxury villas in Palm Springs and other popular vacation destinations like Malibu, Maui, Beaver Creek and Naples.

I’ve recently redesigned the web site after much research into how to make the ultimate html based luxury web site. I also added a google search box into the design, making the web site searchable as well. I spent a great deal of time on a redesign (over a hundred pages) of this web site. They offer luxury vacation homes, some of the finest in the world – if you’ve never seen a luxury villa, go check out one of the properties in Palm Springs or Hawaii, they’re some of the most beautiful photos of homes I’ve ever seen! I spent a number of hours just choosing the fonts and colors. I looked at every high end luxury web site from Armani to Luxury Villas International. I came up with a great logo, then went to work, page by page, using some of the new styling skills I’ve acquired this year.
I also added a google custom search feature, and a subscribe page which offers four different ways to get updates from this company. The slideshow on the homepage is done with javascript, so it will show up on smart phones (the site’s not 100 percent smartphone friendly, but that will be for the next update!)
